Missions & outreach
We are becoming more involved in Missions – local and global. Jesus told us in Acts 1:8 that we would be witness in our communities, our region, country and globally. We seek to be obedient to the scripture and are getting more and more involved as doors open to us for missions and outreach opportunities.
Missions

Sager-Brown is a supply depot in Baldwin, Louisiana that is operated by the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). At Sager-Brown supplies are collected and distributed when there are natural disasters in the United States.
As a United Methodist Church we are involved with our conference for various mission projects both in our conference and around the world.

Camp Lookout is a United Methodist camp on Lookout Mountain that is owned by the Holston Conference. There are many ways we support this vital ministry of the church.
Outreach

Brainerd Food Pantry
Brainerd UMC is a host site for the Chattanooga Food Pantry. We distribute food the second and forth Wednesday of each month. Get involved by volunteering at https://brainerdfoodpantry.com/
Christmas Eve Bags
To say Merry Christmas and thank you for serving our community, we put together bags for our people to take to gas stations, fire stations, police or other business that are open on their way home from Christmas Eve service

Hosted at Brainerd Church, we are becoming more involved with the activities of Girls Inc. and when we are free to fully open again, we will participate in sports lessons – pickle ball, and volleyball.
